It is known that most stars are born in the center of a galaxy and die out near the edge. Doesn't it make sense that if you would like to find more advanced civilizations you would go to the stars on the edge of the galaxy and if you want to find less advanced civilizations you go to stars closer to the center of the galaxy. This gives scientists a statistical method of finding life that is more advanced or less advanced than ours without having to search all the stars. Do you agree or disagree?

How would I go about making a rule for all day care centers to have cameras to monitor children and the satff?

There's been too many cases of abuse in day care centers. Children come home with bruises in their arms or face. Sometimes DHS can't prove if it was the workers at a day care center so the case is dismissed and everything goes back to normal. This is similar to the Joshua Minton's Case. So can I start. You definately have potential on this team - you've juust been unlucky with a huge power outage (Pujols, Hafner, McCann, Young, Wright). If its a standard Yahoo league, try for players like Andruw Jones and Vernon Wells, they're bound to break out of their funks and heat up sooner or later. You should be able to get these guys at a large discount as well. I might consider trading someone like Swisher for a package. Tejada (injured til next August), Hamilton and Sosa are all worthy of being dropped depending on the depth of your league, if its 10 team or deeper. Dogs and swimming pools?

It's okay to take a fleece bag. If you are concerned about being hot, just take a thinner sheet to use. You can sleep in the bag or on top. I've done both. If you happen to be in a colder area, take extra blankets to use inside your bag. If sleeping outside, you might like to take a tarp or something to spread on the ground so stuff doesn't get stuck to your bag as much, or get damp from the ground. Thick sleeping bags can be a pain to wash ( use the laundry mats big washing machines) Also, if you do sleep outside, consider bug spray and/ or a mosquito net.

Your local conservation or extension agency can give out pamphlets with pictures of plants to look for in your area, though you may need to ask your vet for the names of the plants first. I think a lot of people put horses on pasture with no idea that just because it is green, it might not be safe to eat!

Problem with scrunching naturally curly hair?

Hey (: I scrunch my naturally curly hair instead of straightening it. It's so frizzy if I don't scrunch it. I don't use heat to it, I let it dry naturally. I want to scrunch it in the morning for school tomorrow, but the problem is that some days are good days, and others arent. I use scrunching gel, coconut milk, mosturizer, chi silk infusion, and a hair serum that helps keep it non-frizzy. And of course I use a hair spray. Well tomorrow after school i'm going to CVS to get a new product for my hair :D and i wanted to know if you had any reccomendations for good things to help keep it so it doesnt stay frizzy? Lost few inches but weight remains the same though i m really overweight?

Actually my height is 162 cms and my weight is 73 kgs. Actually didnt reduce much after delivery. Now i m working out and trying to get back in shape. My lower abs, hips and thighs have really become flabby. I started almost an year before and reduced only 4 kgs in 8 months. After that i oscillate between 73kgs to 74 kgs for the last 4 months. But in this four months also i have lost few inches but my weight remains the same. I m following a healthy diet too. Drinking plenty of water. I was somewhere near 65kgs before pregnancy. Its really demotivating to see the scale ticking at 73 or 74 even after doing things right.. Is there any way to come near 65 kgs again. Pls let me know if possible and help me get motivated.

Experienced gardeners only! If I let my tomatoes and green peppers go to seed,,,?

For tomatoes: allow the fruit to ripen completely on the vine, then sc all the seeds from three or four tomatoes into a plastic tub and allow it to sit in a dark cool place for a couple weeks un til a mold forms over the whole top. Wash the seeds completly and allow to dry. These seeds will produce hearty plants next year. Bell peppers must be allowed to mature on the plant. Soak seeds overnight and pat dry, then air dry for two or three days. Store all seeds in paper bags in a cool dark place until ready to use. Seeds will be good for up to three years.

what can I eat that will help me feel full without adding too many calories? I go to the gym in the morning - eat a huge bowl of cereal with fruit and a gl of OJ after that then head into work. Ok so I was just looking for some advice. The gland in the back of my throat on the rifght side has swollen signifcantly It feels like a golf ball is in my throat but from lookin at in the mirror I would say its swollen alittle larger than a ping pong ball. I�m an English teacher in a foreign country....and have discovered the millions upon millions of university students world-wide are required to p the TOEFL exam by Cambridge. I find this exam utterly disgusting and truly ignorant for 2 reasons.....1.The average American does not by any means speak in the structures given in the TOEFL course and yet, millions of university students around the world are stressed that they have to p these exams. And 2. At the end of the day, it's obvious that this is a billion dollar-pound industry. Students are brainwashed into believing that they must purchase the TOEFL material, take the course and p this exam presented on behalf of Cambridge. Now who the hell are these people to dictate that the rest of the world should follow these specific guidelines where the average Brit, American etc do not speak in the way the book requires the students to. Any other more practical and realistic alternatives to TOEFL will be highly appreciated!!!

I got declined for an apartment because I have no credit. Can I get a co-signer?

I am 19 and have lived in my current apartment for almost a year. I went to go find a new apartment yesterday and found one. I signed the lease and sent in my deposit but first they had to do a credit check. I explained that I don't have any credit... I pay everything online using a debit card and rarely use checks. I found out today that I was declined. Do you think they will allow me to move in still if I can get a co-signer or pay a few months rent in advance? This is a pretty nice place ($1000 a month) so I am not sure.

The warranty does not cover the services. You can take it to any Honda dealership or any oil/lube shop. Like the other poster said, save all receipts incase you have a warranty claim so you can prove the services have been done.

This friend of mine (who unfortunately cannot remember which one!)had on her facebook 'wall' a application abut celebrity's you can say you find very attractive. Life and Love can get fairly confusing when you talk about 'The One' and what that looks like. To start out with, if she really is your 'One' than yes- she will come back to you. If you really believe and have faith that God has pre-destined her to be your wife than you must continue to have faith that she will come back to you. But please don't sell yourself short and commit yourself to a person whom you think is 'The One' but in reality isn't what's right for you at all. Times, and cirstances, and situations continually change, while she might have been 'The One' for you a year ago; you have both made notable life changes that could have changed that outcome. If it is truly God's will and if it is His plan for you to spend the rest of your life with her- than it will happen. There is nothing you can do to speed that up. Especially since there is no guarantee that she will return to you. Lastly, it is hard for me to understand how someone could be unhappy but content at the same time- unless they do not like being happy, which of course sounds absurd. But everyone is different I guess- nobody but her can fully answer or comprehend that question. My last bit of advice is this; if you really love her (and really love her, not just infatuation) than give her space, continue to support and be there for her- but don't strongly push the idea of the two of you being together. If it is meant to be- she will come back to you.

By sleeper team, I mean team that you think will go BCS or to the national championship that hasn't been there in a while. I gotta go with the Clemson Tigers. They're returning 17 starters from a pretty good team last year. Davis, Spiller, kelly and Harper should be having career years in anticipation for the draft. The entire secondary is returning, and they have a ton of young talent to replace the starters they lost. The defensive ends with Bowers and Sapp should be fun to watch. Although I'm not really a fan of the team, I have to say IF (and its a big IF) the special teams and offensive line perform, they should be a heavy favorite to go to the ACC championship game and BCS (especially with BC expected to be down). So I've got a very serious question here... I'm from Moscow, Russia, 15 years of age, and here's the deal: I once lived in Georgia (Tbilisi) as a child (from 5-13 years). My mother (russian) left my father when I was about 3 years old and took me (and my older sister) to her side. She hasn't graduated from a university at her time (in-fact, she didn't even go to the last, foolishly saying that she wouldn't need that) and never had a job. She always had new wealthy and old boyfriends (although never for too long, we... I always lived in a 1-room appartment - she was always out either at her boyfriends' house or partying or whatever), there was never really any food in the fridge, although she sometimes took me to some parties, stating that I must've eaten a lot, for I that should be enough for some days to come. She always used to beat me till I bleeding with either a stick, a TV cable or a horse lash. She used to throw her mobile phone and other things at me if she liked to (and I was standing out of her reach). She also always humiliated me, using curse words, and almost molested me (making jokes about me and e.t.c.). I started uprising to her words and actions at age 12-13 and by the summer when I was 13, she said that she'd send me to a military camp somewhere in the mountains (oh you know, where they beat kids to death) to teach me a lesson or even send me to prison of sorts, saying that she had "so many connections, everyone could f**k me around". When I was about 8 years old, she got around with a criminal - yes, a criminal - who was in jail more times than I can count. Eventually (13 years), then my grandmother arrived (from Moscow), to check on us and she saw the situation, although my mother was trying to hide it in every possible way, saying that she'll kill me if I spill something out. Still, my grandmother made my mother a proposition: what about sending him (me) to a military school in Russia? Of course this was a trick, and my mother sent me with my grandmother away to Russia. When we arrived to Moscow (my birthplace), it seemed like I finally broke out to my freedom... until my sister came to Moscow. She said that she was under a lot of pressure from our mother and e.t.c. However, my sister had a "character" and she tended to get really angry. At the new year (on my 15th year of age), she decided to leave to our mother, which seemed to move to Turkey, since her criminal boyfriend (now husband) was wanted in their old country. She came back hating us (me and my grandmother) and seemingly "loving" her mother (seemed quite brainwashed to me, she was told that she'd get to live really good at her mother's side, while mother didn't, nor her new husband, have an actual job and were living for who knows who's money). And so, our mother got a step in our home in Moscow. Those past 2 years I felt free to live normally. Of course now I'm physically more than capable to stop any threats of physical violence, lethally, if necessary. Now, this summer, she came here saying that she wants to take me to Turkey (to her new husband), and if I don'y comply, she'll take me by force, stating that she could contact the police (since she was my mother and she could do whatever she wanted to do with my till I was 18) and they'd take me into the plane by force. My question is: is she bluffing (because I think that if she's going to throw law in all of this, I can go to the court or whatever and say how she treated me when I was a child and that she wants to take me to some criminal, that is also wanted), or if she can actually do that - what should I do and how do I stop it and free myself from her?

5 month old baby has hives with cold...please help.?

I have a 5 month old daughter who has a congested nose and cough. No fever. Well starting yesterday afternoon she started with these hives. They began on her chest and got on her arms. I took her to the doctor this morning and he wasn't 100 % sure what they were. He said sometimes there just part of the virus she has. But I thought when you had a virus you had a fever or other symptoms but she doesn't. It's just congestion in her nose and a cough. He said as long as she didn't have a fever or wheezing (which she doesn't) she should be OK. While we were in the doctor's office, hives popped up all over her face, and as soon as I got done feeding her, they were gone. She had her hands on her face while I was feeding her (she always does that) and then the hives were all over her face. So I told my mom who was with me at the time to run and get a nurse. The nurse came in and I showed her the hives. She said it looks as if she's allergic to something that's getting on her skin, I tried to explain to her that we haven't switched up anything, the only thing we have given her that's different was Vick's Babyrub for her congestion and she said she highly doubted that was it...but that's the only thing. Before we left the doctor's the hives on her face already went away. That's how quick they came and left. If you could just please help. The doctor's didn't seem to worry, they checked her lungs and everything and said she was fine, said her ears, breathing, and throat looked good. They said she didn't have a fever, so that's a good sign...i just need answer's b/c these hives are scaring my husband and I. Thanks so much for all answers!

Normally these types of poems just extol the beauty of the woman and how much the man wants to marry her and has to contend with her refusals that you can find a reason for. To put something in like the woman using the man and his love to murder her husband and father really isn't how these poems are written,. and I don't think your teacher will like it and think that you didn't study the poem's format enough to understand what it actually is, because a poem like this would never enter into any degradations of the woman at all, much less something debased as murder. Why can't you do something like what the Shakespeare sonnets did with comparing the woman's (or man's) beauty to nature? Keep it light and easy.
