Will I be able to get back into Canada?

Ok I'm a Canadian resident , I'm from Colombia and I've been leavin here for 5 years and my residenship expired 1 year ago. Due to family issues I have to got to Colombia now. I'm going to go with my Colombian pport. So now I'm really scared that one I get on that plane to Colombia I may never come back. I have all my papers , my landed immigrant paper 2. It's just that the residenship expired. So i was wondering if I can renew my residenship from a canadian embasy there. (I have to leave now so I cant do that thing where I can send a copy of the ticket and I'll get a traveling doent)
