Is it normal to be over forty and still have a crazy drive??

i realy enjoy it asi did in my 20 s-30s older but beautiful girlfriend going through menopause just starting..shouldnt i be revving down as well??..i worry i will have some temptations to deal with..i still looka t yyounger and older woman and of course desire my lady friend as well when we get together.once aweek.i feel like im boiling over by the time i see her?thoughts on how to deal with frustration?..
