Captivate compared to iPhone or Droid?

I know a couple ppl that have the captivate and they think it's as good as an iPhone or Droid. I have an iPhone and I love it, it's hard for me to believe a Captivate is as good. What are your thoughts on it? What exactly can or can't it do that an iPhone can? Thanks :)
